In 2012 a new secondary school will open on the Clay Farm site in the south of the city. The City of Cambridge Education Foundation intends this school to join Coleridge and Parkside Community Colleges as a third school in the highly successful Parkside Federation. Both our schools are oversubscribed, and we are keen to offer more places to families who want a small school with high standards for their children, together with the additional benefits which being part of a federation can offer.
Who are we?
The Parkside Federation was formed in 2005. Both our schools now share a single governing body and staff. Students from the two schools also work closely together.
The City of Cambridge Education Foundation is a charity. Our members and trustees represent the communities served by the Federation’s schools. We protect the schools’ ethos. We appoint some members of the Federation’s governing body. And we own and manage their buildings.
What are your views?
What do you want the new school to be like? What is important to you? Do you have any concerns? We would very much like to hear from you. Please email us your views to newschool@parksidefederation.org.uk |
